Sicario, ’67 Camaro built by Speedtech
Dave and son Mason from Texas brought this ’67 Camaro in for some suspension upgrades and as it often happens one thing led to another and it wasn’t long before a full build was underway. After sandblasting we found there was minimal rust and body damage and what was there got repaired easily enough. While smoothing the body we installed minitubs, added Kindigit flush door handles, and modded the hood to accept a 2015 Z28 hood louver. Under the hood is a wicked Texas Speed 700+ hp LS3 based engine backed by a T56 trans. Underneath the car rests a new Speedtech ExtReme subframe and front suspension while out back is our famous Torque arm with a 9″ Ford axle, rolling on huge Baer brakes and 18″ Forgeline wheels and BFG Rival 315-18 and 335-18 tires.
Luckily after being media blasted this car needed minimal body work, just of a little bit of rust repair and some previous damage repair that needed to be fixed correctly was in order. After the body was arrow straight the mile deep black paint was sprayed on along with a silver center stripe.
