If you grew up watching Smokey and the Bandit, this 1978 Bandit Trans Am built by Speedtech Performance is bound to stir up some serious nostalgia. But make no mistake—this isn’t just a movie tribute car. Under the hood sits a brutal 700HP big-block Chevy engine that turns every cruise into an event.

Out back, we installed our prototype Speedtech Torque Arm rear suspension paired with an adjustable panhard bar and coilover shocks to deliver modern handling and incredible traction. The interior keeps things clean and classy with custom-stitched leather seats, a leather-wrapped stock dash, and custom gauges for a perfect balance of performance and refinement. Finishing it off are a set of Forgeline TA3 wheels—19x9 up front and 19x12 in the rear—wrapped in massive 345/30R19 Nitto Invo tires to make sure all that power actually hits the pavement.

This Trans Am perfectly blends classic style with Speedtech engineering, bringing the Bandit legend into the modern Pro Touring era.

  • Speedtech Prototype Torque Arm Rear Suspension – engineered for improved traction and ride quality

  • Forgeline TA3 Wheels – 19x9 front, 19x12 rear for an aggressive stance

  • Nitto Invo Tires – 345/30R19 rear for maximum traction

  • 700HP Big Block Chevy Engine – delivering raw, reliable power
