Classic muscle cars deliver timeless style—but their original chassis weren’t built for modern power, grip, or performance.
At Speedtech Performance, we engineer complete chassis systems that transform vintage platforms into true modern performance machines, delivering the strength, precision, and confidence that set us apart.
“With so many options and opinions, there’s only one choice when it comes to performance!
“The chassis showed up Sunday afternoon and it's awesome! That crate was insane. The powder coat color is exactly what I was hoping for.”
“Speedtech Performance out of Utah, they have the most badass chassis in the world.”

Front Suspension Breakdown
The ExtReme Geometry
Widest Tire Fitment: As we mentioned above, when you are pushing your car to the limits, you need more contact area with the ground. We have engineered our front suspension to allow for the biggest tire and steering angle combination on the market.
Fitment Examples: 1967-1969 Camaro - 315/30R18, 1967-1970 Mustang - 315/30R18, 1968-1970 Charger - 335/30R18,
The Strength and Rigidity
Driver-Focused Control System
Torque Arm Advantage: The Speedtech Performance torque arm is designed to put power to the pavement smoothly and efficiently. By controlling axle movement and refining rear suspension geometry, it helps reduce wheel hop and improve traction during everyday driving.
Articulating Trailing Arms: On a torque arm rear suspension, articulating trailing arms let the rear end move more naturally without binding. This translates into a smoother ride over bumps and rough pavement, while keeping the suspension stable and the tires firmly in contact with the road.
Torque Arm vs. 4-Link: A torque arm rear suspension provides better traction and stability than a traditional 4-link design. Because it isn’t locked into binding geometry, the suspension moves more freely over bumps and uneven pavement, giving smoother ride quality and more consistent handling. This translates into better grip in everyday situations, more predictable cornering, and improved comfort without the harshness or quirks of a 4-link under stress.
High Motion Ratio Performance: The Speedtech Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) with its high-mount design and optimized motion ratio provides the ideal balance of strength, comfort, and control for everyday driving. The efficient motion ratio allows the shocks and springs to work smoothly, giving a more refined ride and better response over bumps, potholes, and uneven pavement.
Engineered for Maximum Grip: The Speedtech Independent Rear Suspension is designed with longer rear control arms to allow more suspension travel while maintaining proper geometry. This keeps the tires in better contact with the road over bumps and through everyday turns, giving you a larger and more consistent contact patch. The result is improved grip in all conditions, smoother weight transfer, and handling that feels stable and predictable.
Multiple Shock Mounting Options: The Speedtech IRS Chassis gives drivers flexibility with three shock mounting options—high-mount cantilever, low-mount cantilever, and traditional mounts. Each setup allows you to fine-tune suspension geometry and motion ratio to match your driving preferences. Additionally, you can design the look of the trunk of your ride around your suspension set up.
Ultimate Suspension Tuning: The Speedtech IRS is engineered for drivers who want comfort and confidence in everyday conditions. With full adjustability for caster, camber, ride height, and toe, plus a 3-piece tunable sway bar, it gives you the ability to tailor your suspension to your driving style. This means you can dial in the right balance between ride comfort and handling response.
