Big Block Headers for Speedtech Sub Frame 1967-1969 F Body


These headers have been designed by Speedtech Performance specifically for ’67-69 Camaros and Firebirds using Big Block engines in a Speedtech sub frame or factory GM sub frame with a Unisteer rack and pinion conversion.

Made from 304 Stainless Steel, these 2″, .065 wall CNC mandrel bent primary tubes fit perfectly without requiring dimpling for steering linkage clearance. Their long tube design provides awesome low end torque and street performance with excellent ground clearance. Internal collector Merge Spike technology promotes a more directional exhaust flow for better scavenging, increased power, and improved sound. CNC laser cut flanges means an accurate fit while slip fit 3 1/2″ OD collectors provide an easy to work with seal. Available in satin Mill Finish or mirror like Show Polish Finish. Gaskets and fasteners not included.

Integrated Merge Spike Technology

Increased Power
Too much air resistance or back-pressure can make it difficult for the cylinders to expel exhaust, restricting an engine’s power. Merge Spikes help reduce turbulence which means less back-pressure, allowing your engine to unleash more power.
Better Scavenging
Inspired by race-system technology and backed by performance dyno testing, the Merge Spike was developed to direct airflow towards the center of the collector, which helps promote scavenging.
Improved Sound
The other benefits of creating a more directional airflow is that the turbulence within the collector is reduced, improving performance and generating a purer sound.
