Stacey hails from Australia and wanted a ’69 Camaro that he could take cruising and would stand out in a crowd at the local car shows. He found a rough ’69 Camaro builder here in the states and before shipping it overseas a phone call to Speedtech Performance to check a price on control arms turned into dropping the car off for a full build. Upon tear down and sand blasting we found although it had new 1/4 panels and femders, rough was a great word to describe the body. Because of rot and damage we ended up replacing the roof inner structure and outer skin, the rockers, the firewall, and part of the trans tunnel too. Body work continued to straighten the rest of the sheet metal and the floor was coated with bed liner before the yellow base coat was sprayed on.
