These Caddys are actually two different cars built by the same customer. Both use Speedtech front B body control arms that help keep the car straight, stable and quick.
The 79 that hangs the wheels has been sold and now tears up the local tracks in Scandinavia. The 77 with the black hood continues to campaign here in the states, powered by a high mileage junkyard stock bottom end LS motor with a hot cam and a few other upgrades topped with a 200 shot of nitrous. That combination powers this big beastie to 10 second 1/4 miles!
