Mike’s 70 Nova

Mike comes out of Bakersfield, CA and built this beautiful Nova cruiser at home in his garage. He found the car up in Victorville, an ebay auction no one jumped on because there were no keys or title. That didn’t scare Mike off and he picked it up for a mere $400! After applying for a duplicate CA title and ordering all new locks for the car he started the restomod rebuild. Several part time years later the car emerged from the garage motivated by a 407 RWHP 2002 LS1/ 4L60E ready for paint, and the interior soon followed. He said, “I put about 2000 miles on her before I realized the original sub-frame and steering was just not going to cut it. I shopped around and found Speedtech.”

Mike ditched the whole front suspension and subframe and drove out to meet us and pick up a new Pro Touring subframe and suspension system. Continuing he said, “The assembly was easy and painless. The handling is so much better and now it drives like a new car.”

Thanks for the feedback Mike, and the car looks awesome!
