’72 Nova by The Carnage Crew Garage

“Many people who have a rust fee car see it as a perfect project for a complete restoration. When it’s a Nova, it sometimes gets built to see the quarter mile. Then there’s the Carnage Crew Garage.

The Carnage Crew was established in 1985 and is a full service shop that builds anything from a turn key hot rod to a race car. If you just need to upgrade your existing hot rod or classic car, they can handle that too.

One of their latest projects is this 1972 Nova that’s starting out in pretty decent shape. But they have plans for it, and judging by the size of the tires laid out next to it, it’s going to be bad to the bone.

Starting with a 650 hp LS 427 and 6 speed transmission, the car will be running on a Speedtech front and torque arm rear suspension. Aside from the new paint, interior and the roll cage they are  going to build, the car is going to be rolling around on some impressive rubber.

If you think that 295/35/18 is a bit too wide for a front tire, it will look right at home when you see the massive 335/30/18 tires it’s getting out back. Slowing this car down will be a set of Wilwood 6 piston calipers.

No doubt they’ll have to tub this one to fit those tires under it. It might look a bit like a steamroller from behind with a pair of 335s, but I’ll bet the Nova will look like it’s glued to the pavement when it’s taking the corners. We’re looking forward to this build!”
