Like many of us Nick Relampagos has been a motorhead his whole life and he’s had several old cars over the years.
After building a successful business the stars aligned and he built one of his dream cars, a ’70 Pro Touring Chevelle.
Although it had the pro touring look, he felt driving it left so much on the table. Not wanting to tear up a beautiful car, he started over with a new project, this time his choice was a 2nd gen ’70 Camaro Z/28.
With full intentions to create a street cruiser that he could flog on the track, the Camaro was completed with Speedtech’s Track Time package for the GM subframe and features a Torque Arm rear suspension. Nick started racing it just a couple years ago, he was easily smitten by the race bug, and It didn’t take long to want to be even more competitive.
The the car then got upgraded to the top of the line Speedtech ExtReme subframe and suspension. Now dialed in he’s become a new storm at Pro Touring track events all over the southwest.
